Memory

I was reminded of this by another blog Two Straight Lines I'll wait while you go read that.

I have siblings. An older sister, a younger sister, and a brother who is the baby of the family. This particular story involves my younger sister. With any luck she might comment and let us know if she remembers these events any differently.

When she was a young teenager (13, I think) she went to a doctor for consistent and troubling ear aches. Consistent, like, she had them for years. Nobody really had taken her seriously about this, so I'm not sure who took her to the doctor. But there she was, and he pulled something out of her ear that I had put there years before. When she was 8, I think. Or maybe 9. What was this item?

Popcorn Kernel. In her ear. I still feel bad about that one.

Hi, wandered on over here from my blog-- that is really gross about the popcorn kernel. Amazing she still speaks to you...

*gigglesnort* That's awfully hilarious. All I ever did was wipe boogers on candy before I gave it to my brother...wait, that's still pretty wrong.
